Funding Update:

• Ancient8 is backed by many prominent Ventures mainly: Coinbase Ventures, Coinlist, Jump Capital, Pantera Capital, Hashed and others. 
• In January 2022, The company announced their $4M seed round financing, backed by leading blockchain investors and builders
• In June 2022, they announced the completion of a $6 million private round of financing. This round of financing brings Ancient8’s total capital raised to $10M.

Targeted Demographic: Why Vietnam?

Ancient8 believes Vietnam has all the prerequisites for a thriving GameFi industry.

• Vietnam leads the rest of the world in cryptocurrency adoption, and ranks third in monthly average users on MetaMask
• Vietnam is expected to be one of the fastest-growing Internet economies in the next 10 years according to Google's e-Conomy SEA 2021 report. Over 70% of Vietnam’s population has access to the internet.
• Vietnam ranked 9th, globally, in smartphone penetration rate with 63.1%, higher than Indonesia (58.6%) and the Philippines (37.7%), and highest in SouthEast Asia

Token Utilities: $A8 

The $A8 token is not released yet but will have value accrual from the Ancient8 ecosystem, and the form of value accrual will be determined through votes by the DAO members. Potential basis for the growth of token value might come from:

• Activities from Play-to-Earn guilds & scholarship businesses
• Activities from NFT Launches on Ancient8 Game NFT Launchpad 
• Activities from Token Launches on Ancient8 Game Token Launchpad, including $A8 token staking 
• Purchases of the token and NFTs in GameFi and other Metaverse projects 
• NFT asset value & the yield produced from different investments 
• GameFi ESports 
• Blockchain and Software Products

Staking: $A8 tokens will be used for different staking methods for the Ancient8 token and NFT launchpads.

Governance: $A8 token will allow the token holders to participate and vote on community proposals and amendments
